You May Kiss the Bridesmaid by Camilla Isley | Book Review

Hi book friends! Who’s ready for another romance review? I am! You May Kiss the Bridesmaid by Camilla Isley is one of the best romance books I’ve read in 2020 (and I’ve read more than a few). ๐Ÿ’• It’s a sweet, quick read with the perfect amount of tension to have you eagerly turning the next page and while Summer and Archie’s relationship wasn’t exactly “insta-love”, mine with this book certainly was!

QOTD: What was the last book you insta-loved?

You May Kiss the Bridesmaid definitely falls under the insta-love category. I devoured this book right from the beginning and even downloaded the first 3 books in the series, as well!

Archibald Hill is handsome, single, and he’s going to his best friend’s wedding ready to make a conquest or two. After all, everyone knows weddings are the perfect setting to get lucky.

Summer Knowles used to have a life – friends, family, a sister who’d do anything for her – until she blew it all away with a terrible mistake. Now, attending her twin’s wedding as the party’s undesirable number one seems like more than she can handle. So, when a tall stranger with smoldering ice-blue eyes offers her a therapy of seven nights of no-strings-attached fun, she might even ignore that he has a beard and accept.

Oh my gosh, I absolutely LOVED this book! Like, insta-loved it. Right away, I was caught by the hilarious and easy banter between Summer and Archie. Also … a character named Archibald? He already sounds sexy to me! (Excuse me while I compose myself). ๐Ÿ˜

So many parts of this book made me laugh and blush and happy cry. Honestly, I loved it so much that I went and bought the boxed set of the first three books in the middle of the night (seriously, it’s like 99 cents but that doesn’t matter … I would have done it anyway!)

“I love the speed. The sensation of flying.
And I’m afraid I might be a tiny bit in love with the driver as well.”

Summer, You May Kiss the Bridesmaid

The entire book had me hoping for a happy ending. At first, this is just going to be a fling, but they both start having emotions. And fight the motions, instantly and dramatically putting on the breaks. I just kept hoping and hoping for that happy ending๐Ÿคž Camilla Isley has definitely secured her place on my auto-buy author list with You May Kiss the Bridesmaid.
