Good morning, bookpups🐾 Do you enjoy reading quirky, cute little stories for kids? Or have kids who love to read? Is it weird I fit into both of those categories? 🤣 Today, I’m sharing my review of Wombat & Jones: The Great Banana Mystery by Aaran Francis and it’s one you’re sure to love!
QOTD: If you could travel anywhere (no COVID restrictions), where would it be?
I would love to visit the Eiffel Tower. It’s been on my bucket list … well, since I made a bucket list 🤣 But if given the opportunity, I’d also love to see Australia or New Zealand.

I listened to this audiobook on SoundCloud and, while I’m still fairly new to the app, I absolutely loved it!
The bananas have gone missing! 🍌
The Great Banana Mystery is a short, adorable audiobook about … you guessed it … a bunch of bananas that go missing! Everyone’s getting ready to make banana bread at a class when *gasp* the bananas have disappeared. Of course, they all automatically suspect the monkey 🙊, who has also disappeared. Very suspicious.
Detective Wombat and her partner, Furlock Jones, head off to find out what happened to the missing bananas so they can all get back to learning how to make banana bread. Yum! The adventure they go on was so much fun to listen to! At one point, Jones even gets himself locked inside a lost property cupboard!
I was giggling and smirking most of the way through this audiobook and would definitely pick up another Wombat & Jones adventure in the future. It’s perfect for young and old, alike!
Stellar narration🎧 that brings the characters to life!
Alison Campbell did an amazing job at narrating The Great Banana Mystery. She expertly gave each character a different voice (and some even had different accents), which made the story so much fun to listen to!
