NetGalley Books from 2013

Grave Consequences Summer NetGalley TBR
Reign Ginger Garrett
Runes Ednah Walters Summer NetGalley TBR
Storm Evan Angler

Grave Consequences (The Grand Tour #2) – Lisa T. Bergren (downloaded March 2013)
Reign: The Chronicles of Queen Jezebel (Lost Loves of the Bible #3) – Ginger Garrett (downloaded March 2013)
Runes (Runes #1) – Ednah Walters (downloaded April 2013)
Storm (Swipe #3) – Evan Angler (downloaded June 2013)

*hangs head in bookish shame*

I’m currently reading the first book in Lisa T. Bergren’s Grand Tour series and loving it! Also, to read Storm by Evan Angler, I need to first read book #2 in the Swipe series (I’ve already read book #1). So there’s a bit of catching up to do. 2013 wasn’t a very good year for NetGalley feedback, as I didn’t submit my first review until May of 2016 … what a bad reader I’ve been!

NetGalley Books from 2016

After a small book-requesting binge in 2013, I took a break from NetGalley. When I returned in 2016, the requesting began again. The books I hope to read during the Summer NetGalley Challenge from 2016 are …

Summoned Rainy Kaye
stifled rainy kaye summer netgalley TBR
Seas Wendy Darling Summer NetGalley TBR
Spindle Shonna Slayton

Summoned (Summoned #1) – Rainy Kaye (downloaded May 2016)
Stifled (Summoned #2) – Rainy Kaye (downloaded May 2016)
Seas (Wendy Darling #2) – Colleen Oakes (downloaded June 2016)
Spindle – Shonna Slayton (downloaded September 2016)

In order to read Seas by Colleen Oakes, I first need to read Stars. At the time of this post, it’s FREE on Kindle! I’m also really excited to read Spindle because I haven’t read too many fairytale retellings about Sleeping Beauty.

NetGalley Books from 2017

Journal of Curious Letters Summer NetGalley TBR
The Engagement Plot Krista Phillips

The Journal of Curious Letters (The 13th Reality #1) – James Dashner (downloaded August 2017)
The Engagement Plot – Krista Phillips (downloaded September 2017)

The Engagement Plot is at the top of my TBR, as this one was received as a review copy. I started reading it right when I received it, but couldn’t get into the book at the time. So now I’m adding it back to the top of my Summer NetGalley TBR and hoping to finish it ๐Ÿ™‚

NetGalley Books from 2018

Goldfisch Volume 2
Sword Princess Amaltea Volume 1
the daughter of river valley

Goldfisch Volume 2 – Nana Yaa (downloaded April 2018)
Sword Princess Amaltea Volume 1 –Natalia Batista (downloaded May 2018)
The Daughter of River Valley (Cornish Tales #3) – Victoria Cornwall (downloaded July 2018)

In 2018, I started my manga/graphic novel phase. I’ve already read Sword Princess Amaltea but because I was a bad reader and didn’t write a review, I’ll be re-reading it for this challenge. Goldfisch was another manga I jumped into but before I can read Volume 2, I need to read Volume 1 (that I already purchased for my Kindle). The Daughter of River Valley is another re-read that I received for a book tour and struggled to get into. I was able to review it for the tour but believe it deserves a better read.

NetGalley Books from 2020

Oh yes, in the middle of the pandemic, I found myself back on NetGalley and requesting a few more books.

The Campaign Laurie Friedman Summer NetGalley TBR
Diary of an 8-bit warrior graphic novel
Lemonade Code Jarod Pratt

The Campaign: With Liberty and Study Hall for All – Laurie Friedman (downloaded July 2020)
Diary of an 8-Bit Warrior Graphic Novel: An OP Alliance – Pirate Sourcil (downloaded November 2020)
Lemonade Code – Jarod Pratt (downloaded November 2020)

NetGalley Challenge Levels

In an effort to raise my Feedback Ratio, I’ll be aiming for the top! 16 books will get me up to the top level (Beach Ball) and hopefully get me back on NetGalley’s good side!

Your Netgalley TBR is going to be a happy place if you get through 16. I have 12 on my shelf. All were requested this year but one was released in 2018. I am going to try to join the challenge. Best of luck getting through the challenge,

I’m really hoping my NetGalley feedback ratio goes up a bunch from this ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s been sitting in a not-so-happy place lately. Thanks for stopping by to comment!

I am ashamed to admit that my Netgalley ratio – I confess – am a book hoarder!

    • Reply Bookstacks & Golden Moms May 9, 2021 at 7:29 am

I am definitely a book hoarder! Over 4K books on my Kindle (at least 50+ of those being NetGalley titles) and a few bookshelves with books that I’m not sure I’d even read anymore. Keeping them for the sake of keeping them.

I would love that ๐Ÿ™‚ Hopefully it is motivating enough to raise my Feedback Ratio. I am in desperate need of some help so NetGalley can approve books for me again LOL.

Good luck. Lemonade Code looks like fun!

    • Reply Bookstacks & Golden Moms May 15, 2021 at 8:03 am

I’m really excited to read it ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ve gotten into Graphic Novels over the last year or so and Lemonade Code stood out to me while I was browsing NetGalley.
