Do you have a desire to support the Indie book community but just don’t know where to start? I feel for you. It’s not always easy to tell what books are or aren’t Indie. So today, with the help of one of my favorite book bloggers, Empress DJ, we’ve got a list of seven amazing Indie books to get you started.
QOTD: Do you enjoy local bookstores or large chains (like Amazon or Barnes & Noble)?
I love small bookstores. There’s one only a few blocks from my house and I absolutely love walking into it. There’s a completely different atmosphere when it comes to used books. They smell different than ones that come from a large bookstore, like a B&N.

In May 2019, we hosted #IndieBookWeek on our blog, Ginger Mom & Company. Empress DJ from Books & Bindings shared her list of seven amazing Indie books to get any new (or seasoned) reader started on their Indie TBR. Today, with her permission, we’re reposting that list for those who want to support Indie authors but may not know quite where to start.
