Hello, 2021!
I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to welcome in a new year. While many are celebrating a new president, I am just happy to conclude what has been the LONGEST YEAR IN THE EXISTENCE OF MANKIND. 2020 has been filled with uncertainty, fear, sickness, and parents who have been thrust into the role of educators for their children (been there, done that). It’s been the type of year I hope never to repeat.
I’d like to say “It’s not you, 2020, it’s me” but … it was you. Buh-bye! Don’t let the door hit you on the way out!
GROWTH is the word for 2021 …
In 2021, we’re focusing on GROWING what we’ve already created.

With almost 200 members, our little Facebook Group – Bookstacked Readers – has grown quite a bit in 2020. We’re excited to see this little community of book lovers continue to grow in 2021. It is still a main hub for AtoZ-ers, but this little group has expanded beyond the reaches of the AtoZ-ers to include anyone who loves to read!
2020 saw the growth of our little Bookstagram account to over 1600 followers! We are beyond honored that so many of you find our photos enjoyable and look forward to more bookishly beautiful content in 2021!

We are so excited to see the AtoZ Reading Challenge enter its FOURTH YEAR! This little challenge has seen a couple of blog name changes and has already grown so much. Let’s keep the momentum going in 2021 and keep the AtoZ family growing.
Note: We will be drawing the 2020 Challenge winner this week so make sure you’ve got all your
book links submitted before Friday, January 8!!

Okay, teensy fib. Megan is branching off just a bit from the GROWTH plan in 2021 and making a solid attempt to read through her Bible this year. For those of you who are interested, she will be journaling her way through it on Instagram (and possibly as a little feature on the Bookstacks if there is enough interest).
The plan is also to open an Etsy shop with digital planners and other amazing content (but that’s a bit down the road in 2021).

So excited for the A to Z challenge!
Growth is a good word for 2021, I dare so say mine is hope.
Hope is a FANTASTIC word for 2021!! I kinda have two – Grace is one of them but it doesn’t fit with books. So Growth is the one we’ve chosen here ๐
i am loving growth as a word choice for 2021…. and looking forward to actually diligently working on the a to z this year:)
