Hi book friends!! Okay, I know it’s almost July but I couldn’t help it – I saw the Literary Escapes Challenge on Lori (Dollycas)’s blog and have wanted to read the entire USA … well, since I started blogging! This challenge looks like so much fun and, though I doubt I’ll complete it (it’s the end of June … let’s be realistic here), I’m so excited to get started!

My (Very-Tentative) Literary Escapes TBR

The Great Gatsby F. Scott Fitzgerald
Zorro Isabel Allende
Rules of Prey John Sandford
The Smoke Jumper Nicholas Evans

Let’s face it, I don’t make TBRs and stick to them. So for now, I’m only planning out a few states ๐Ÿ™‚

New YorkThe Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
CaliforniaZorro by Isabel Allende
Minnesota Rules of Prey by John Sandford (this will be a re-read for me)
Montana The Smoke Jumper by Nicholas Evans

Each of these books on my TBR I already own so they don’t take away from my Book Buying Ban (you’ll read more about that in a future post).

I do this challenge every year. It’s so much fun to track where all the books you read are set. It’s always interesting to me when I look at my stats at the end of the year. If you get stuck on certain states, check out the right sidebar of my blog. In the tags section, there are tags that say U.S. Settings: Arizona (for example). Most states are represented. Good luck with the challenge!

I will definitely be checking out your tags ๐Ÿ™‚ I only have a few states figured out so far but I love that Goodreads often puts the states in their info. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and I look forward to chatting again!
