Good morning, AtoZ-ers!
It’s May already. So you’re probably wondering what I’m doing creating an Official AtoZ Challenge Link-Up. Am I right?
This year, we opened up the AtoZ Challenge to our Facebook group. And possibly messed up a setting in the new InLinkz (something about backlinks). As a result, we’ve had more problems with participants linking up to the challenge than all the previous years combined.
So, Megan has a solution!
This little page is the Official Link-Up place for any books you read in the 2021 AtoZ Reading Challenge. The. Only. Place.
Now, because people usually don’t all follow the rules, we will be duplicating this page on our Facebook page (see what we did there? We gave you the link. Just click it and you’re good!). We will also be transferring all links that have previously been submitted to InLinkz (so don’t worry about grabbing your previous links).
How Do I Link Up???
Step 1: Read your book.
Step 2: Review your book on any of the following: your blog, Goodreads, any retail site (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, IndieBound, etc) Note: This is a required step. In order to participate in the challenge, you MUST review the book. Otherwise anyone could write down the name of a book and have an entry.
Step 3: Copy the link to your book review. Make sure to link to the actual review, not just the book 🙂 For example, the link for my book review on Goodreads would look like this:
Another Note: If you struggle with this step, we’d be happy to help you find your review link.
Step 4: Come to this page (or the duplicate on our Facebook page). Take that link you copied and add it to the COMMENTS SECTION OF THIS POST (or the duplicate on Facebook).
A 3rd Note: Random comments on this page will not be approved. Only comments with book links will be approved.
There is not a single other step that you need to complete in order to add your link to the challenge and be entered in the drawing.
If you have any questions about the AtoZ Challenge or how to find your links, feel free to message us on Facebook or Instagram, or email at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line ATOZ CHALLENGE QUESTION.
Happy reading, AtoZ Book Clubbers!
