The 100K Page Challenge

100K Page Challenge

Have you ever joined a reading challenge, had your TBR all set … only to DNF the first book you read. 25 pages down and nothing to check off. Then you pick up book 2, dive in and read to page 68 … DNF. All that progress … wasted. After seeing posts all over Facebook about the #1000hoursoutsidechallenge, I’ve decided to create a reading challenge where we focus on all the reading we do … not just the books we complete. A challenge for page counters … a 100K Page Challenge!

Megan’s 100K 5-Year Challenge

The #100KPageChallenge is not a timed challenge, though I’m setting a 5-year goal for myself. That comes out to just over 54 pages a day. It’s not a sprint, but at the end of this challenge, I’ll be able to say that I’ve read ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND pages!

The little pea in my brain is rattling and cannot comprehend reading 100K pages –

The 100K Page Challenge sounds like fun. I might think about adding this to my challenges for this year.

A challenge over five years seems doable. I hope you have many takers and that you complete it – I’m sure you will, in less than 5 years.

I have always felt that the challenges need to include page numbers. Some of us who are into long books are whining for approval. Best wishes!

Absolutely! If you look at the number of books read, it doesn’t always reflect how many pages someone has consumed. I’m also thinking of splitting this off into an audiobook version, too. I’ve tried tracking the audiobooks I read using their page numbers and it just doesn’t seem right ๐Ÿ™‚

๐Ÿ™‚ wow, while I know I must have read this number of pages, I am realizing I am not good at keeping track at all… but maybe I should try again…sounds like a good goal to look forward to
